KS Hydropower (U) Limited plans to expand its power infrastructure services through the introduction of specialized equipment and additional technical capabilities. These plans are intended to support a wider range of projects, including stadium lighting, work in difficult-to-access locations, underground utility installations and high-voltage substation development.
These services include;
Stadium Lighting Projects
KS Hydropower plans to expand into stadium lighting maintenance and servicing. Stadium lighting systems are often mounted on towers exceeding 110 feet, requiring specialized access methods and trained personnel to carry out work at height. The planned service will focus on the maintenance and servicing of lighting installations mounted on these structures.
Specialized Equipment Acquisition
We intend to acquire equipment to support power line construction, lighting installations, maintenance and work in locations that are difficult to access. Planned acquisitions include off-road tracked equipment with attachments such as backhoes, augers, rock drills and long-reach booms.
Other planned equipment includes single and double bucket trucks for power line and lighting projects, rubber-tired backhoes for urban work, ditch-witch trenchers for narrow underground service routes, and mole-digging equipment for creating underground passages beneath roads and runways.
KS Hydropower also plans to offer the sale and delivery of poles, materials and equipment directly to project sites. These additions are intended to extend the range of projects the company can support.
Infrared Line Inspection
KS Hydropower plans to acquire infrared cameras for power line patrols and fault investigation. This technology is intended to help technical teams identify and isolate problem areas during inspections, supporting quicker fault detection and assessment.
132kV Substation Development
We plan to expand into the construction and rebuilding of 132kV substations. This planned development represents a future area of growth within its power infrastructure operations.
Looking Ahead
These plans form part our intended development in power line construction, electrical infrastructure and technical services. We aim to broaden our capabilities through equipment acquisition and the development of additional service areas.
The services and equipment described are planned for the future and are not currently available.
